How does radio advertising work?

There are two overarching types of radio advertising: broadcast ads and on-air live reads. Broadcast ads are pre-recorded, played between music and presenter segments, and include jingles, stories and testimonials. Live reads are delivered on-air by radio personalities where they openly endorse brands or products.
