The Problem

Until recently, Mira had been known as Pest Register, with their software originally purpose-built for professionals in that sector. Because of that history, they were struggling to reach potential users outside of pest control, but wanted to improve their reach into other industries and show that they were equipped for all kinds of industries.

While Mira had a comprehensive software solution for admin headaches, they were also struggling to gain brand awareness against bigger and better-known brands. Without an internal marketing team, they reached out to us for recommendations to generate more leads, reach a wider variety of professionals, and build brand awareness.

The SOlution

We recommended a two-fold approach: combining targeted SEO work to build their profile and awareness with paid social media advertising to better generate leads and interest. We optimised their existing features pages with more targeted headings and keyword usage, and added industry landing pages designed to rank for industry-specific search terms and reach professionals with targeted information.

We also wrote blog content with tips and ideas for trade and service professionals to help them start and grow a business, and created gated downloadable resources to capture leads and introduce users to Mira. To try and redirect user interest from competitors, we also set up comparison pages to highlight Mira’s advantages over other softwares.

To improve conversions and sign-ups, we established a paid social media campaign and conducted a photo and video shoot to capture content specifically for advertising and use on the website. Combining statics, carousels, testimonials and video footage, our ads targeted potential users at all stages of the funnel, showcasing Mira’s features and how the software benefits its users.

The Results

At the start of our campaign, Mira was earning minimal organic traffic, and all of it to their home page. Now, traffic goes to feature pages, blogs and industry landing pages, with Mira better equipped to meet the specific search needs and interests of different audiences. We’ve seen monthly increases in traffic and ranking keywords, with 48 now ranking in the top 10 positions, up from 5 when we began the campaign.
