The problem
Werribee Mazda wasn’t competing for attention in isolation — it was competing on one of the most crowded dealership strips in the region.
Surrounded by major automotive brands including Ford, Kia, and Nissan, the dealership needed to work harder to stand out not just as another place to buy a car, but as the preferred choice for local customers and buyers travelling from further afield.
That meant the challenge was bigger than lead generation alone. Werribee Mazda needed to strengthen brand recognition, reinforce its reputation as a high-quality dealership, and communicate the customer-first experience that set it apart.
To do that, the brand needed a more complete marketing ecosystem — one that could combine strong creative, consistent visibility, and multiple channels of communication to reach people at different stages of the buying journey.

The insight
In automotive, proximity creates competition — but perception drives preference.
When multiple dealerships are clustered together, product alone is rarely enough to differentiate. Buyers compare not just vehicles, but trust signals: presentation, professionalism, service, and how confidently a dealership shows up across the channels they use to research.
We recognised that Werribee Mazda’s opportunity was to make that experience feel stronger and more visible before a customer ever stepped onto the lot.
That meant building a strategy that could do two things at once:
- Capture active demand from people already in the market
- Strengthen brand perception so Werribee Mazda felt like the premium, dependable choice
Because in a competitive retail environment, the dealership that wins isn’t always the closest — it’s the one that feels most worth choosing.
The strategy
Our approach was to create a multi-channel marketing system that combined compelling visual content with consistent paid and organic activity.
Rather than treating photography, video, social content, and advertising as separate outputs, we built them to work together. Content production formed the foundation of the strategy, giving the dealership a steady flow of high-quality creative that could be used across paid and organic channels.
From there, the strategy focused on:
- Increasing visibility among local car buyers through paid media
- Building stronger brand familiarity through ongoing social content
- Using premium visual assets to reinforce the quality of the dealership experience
- Creating more opportunities for customers to convert, whether through calls, forms, test drive bookings, or quote requests
The aim was not just to generate clicks, but to build a stronger presence across the full consideration journey.

The Execution
At the centre of the campaign was a regular program of photo and video shoots, capturing vehicles in the showroom and in surrounding local environments. This gave Werribee Mazda a more premium and consistent bank of assets that could be deployed across both paid advertising and social media.
That creative content helped the dealership present its vehicles in a more aspirational and engaging way, while also reflecting the professionalism of the showroom and the service standards behind the brand.
Paid social campaigns were then used to place that content directly in front of likely buyers, targeting audiences in the local area and surrounding catchments. These campaigns were designed to generate interest and enquiry by combining strong visuals with clear, action-oriented messaging.
Paid search activity complemented this by ensuring Werribee Mazda appeared in high-intent moments — particularly for dealership-related and general car search terms. This helped capture consumers already researching vehicle options and looking for a trusted local dealership.
Organic social extended the strategy further, giving prospective customers a place to explore the brand in more depth. Through regular posting, the dealership was able to reinforce its premium positioning, highlight customer service, and maintain a more active and polished digital presence.
Together, these channels created a more connected experience — one where customers could encounter the dealership multiple times, in multiple ways, before making contact.
